New to the city or coming alone?

Everyone was welcome.

We had backyard cricket, Aussie Rules football, netball and plenty of other good old-fashioned activities (yes, the thong toss) — all of it there to get people talking to someone they hadn't met yet.

Over 1,000 Australians joined America Josh in Rockefeller Park on Saturday, August 15, 2026. Plenty came on their own and left with new mates — which was always the point.
