This is a release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement
By signing or electronically agreeing to this waiver, I, the undersigned participant (or parent/legal guardian if under 18), voluntarily agree to the following:
I understand that participation in the Big Aussie BBQ and its associated activities — including but not limited to physical games such as the three-legged race, thong throw, sports, competitions, and other recreational or family activities — involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, physical injury, property damage, or even death.
I affirm that my participation (and/or that of the minor I represent) is voluntary, and I assume full responsibility for any risk of injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
In consideration for being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:
from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may arise out of or relate in any way to my participation in the event, including transportation to and from the event.
I certify that I (or the participant I represent) am physically fit and capable of participating in event activities. I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in case of injury, illness, or accident during the event and understand I am solely responsible for all related medical costs.
I grant permission for America Josh LLC and its representatives to take photographs or video of me (or the minor I represent) during the event, and to use them in promotional, digital, and printed materials without compensation or further approval.
This release shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. If any portion is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect.
