Cigna Global is powering our health station (and has backed us for years)
Every year there's a moment at the Big Aussie BBQ — usually somewhere around 2pm, when the sun's doing its thing and someone's kid has been running on grass for three hours straight — where what you really need is a cold water and a bit of sunscreen.

They've been here a while
Here's what we want you to know: Cigna Global isn't new to this community. They've been supporting America Josh and the Aussies around us for years now, quietly, long before this year's barbie.
What they do is global health insurance for expats living in the USA — which, if you've ever tried to work out American healthcare from scratch, you'll understand is not a small offer.

Let's be honest about this bit. Moving to the US and hitting the healthcare system is genuinely one of the hardest parts of the whole experience. The vocabulary is foreign. Deductibles, copays, in-network, out-of-network, premiums, EOBs. You come from a country where you show a green and gold card and walk out, and suddenly you're reading a bill you can't decode for a visit you thought was covered.
And a lot of us fall right through the middle of it — between jobs, on the wrong visa, freelancing, newly arrived, or just not covered the way we assumed we were.
That gap is exactly what Cigna Global works in: helping people who don't fit neatly into the American system make sense of it, and actually be covered while they do. For a community made up almost entirely of people who arrived here as outsiders, that matters.
